I remember several years ago going to the local gun store and checking out what I believe was called the Mossberg Persuader. It's very similar to the Maverick but just a bit shorter. Short barrel, black synthetic stock and a pistol grip to put on it if desired. This shotgun was for home defense purposes only and at that time I lived by myself and I was happy with the "defense" that my Ruger .45 semi-auto gave me. But now, I have a wife and a baby on the way and I live in a duplex apartment so I have to worry about where the bullet will go after it leaves the would be perpetrator's body. So, naturally I would rather only worry about one thing at a time plus my wife feels more comfortable with a short barrel 12 ga. than the sliding action of the .45. Anyhow, to shorten this up a bit, I was just wondering if anyone here has ever heard of or seen the Mossberg Persuader 12 ga. pump shotgun or am I thinking about something else.
