I'm looking into an outfitted drop camp hunt through them for 2007 out of Kotzebue. Sounds like good service at a reasonable price. I'm looking for feedback from someone that has used their service in the past and any advise on what equipment I should bring.

Can't help on that outfitter. On some other websites there have been some horror stories of some poor service out of Kotzebu, so you might want to do some more web searches and research. I'm sure there are some good outfitters there too.

As for equipment, I haven't done a drop hunt in Alaska yet, but it sounds like another option to consider is paying the outfitter to use his equipment (tent, cooking gear, etc). If reasonable, it would be a lot easier than hauling it all up there.
