Colorado Hunting?

Hey all just thought i would drop a line and see how the hunting in colorado is. I am heading up to Colorado springs in the begining of december. I had hoped to bust some birds but i just wanted to know if there is any birds up there. We are seeing little to none down here. So anyone that can give me a report and maybe a good public spot to get some birds that would be great. I am taking some new waterfowlers out and would love to have a good hunt so it turns them on to the sport. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx
