Common Sense

Seems to me it would make more sense to instill a fear of man into the squirrels. Even if you didn't kill one squirrel, a ten year old with a Red Ryder could teach the squirrels to beware of people.
I could not agree more with Common Sense. Trapping them will result in some incidental killing of squirrels with manners.
The article says "...Officials say the animals have been jumping inside baby strollers, opening food bags and even scratching people as they seek a handout. They say the increasingly brazen behavior stems from years of being fed by park visitors."
Let the kids use those little training bows on them. No real chance of hurting anyone, may kill a few squirrels, and they will get the message.
