Public Hogs in CA

I am looking for information on hog hunting places in CA. ###I hunt private guided hunts mostly, but I am looking for a decent public spot to save some cash so I can go more often. ###Any suggestions???? ###I have access to an ATV, and am willing to hike, so no public spot should be out of reach.

The only area that I know of that is worth a darn is Hunter Liggett and that is only fair at best. What area are you from? I am from So Cal so I dont know how good any of the Northern areas are. Another place that might be worth a try would be Camp Roberts. They are not open that often but there are usually a couple of pigs taken when they do. ### ###Fubar
