I Talked to this guide today from boar buster guide service out of King city. He is offering pig hunts at 400.00. I was just curious if anyone has ever heard anything about these guys. $400.00 sounded to good to be true for a 2 day guided hunt.

What do they offer with the hunt? Is there a trophy fee or a meat pig fee? Actually, that price sounds about right.

If you look around there's some that are cheaper than $400. Williamson Bros. charge around $300 with , I believe, a cabin included to stay overnight.

The 400.00 is the only fee. No meat or trophy fee. They claim to have a 12,000 acre ranch. The hunt is fully guided spot and stalk. They say you can use either rifle or bow.

Check out Tom Willoughby, he's $400 as well, no trophy fees and he'll gaurentee you a shot within 100 yards. I'm going the first weekend in June.

Might want to check out Frank Morasci out of King City as well. ###I have hunted up there for years and am not familiar with Boar Busters. ###Frank charges $400 with no extra fees. ###He also has access to 12 ranches and something like 140,000 acres of land. ###Tom Willoghby is supposed to be very good too.

Do all of these guides offer hunts year round? ###Or is it like Tejon where they open the ranch up to hunters several times a year?
