Howard Dean, you got to love him if you follow politics closely. He has got constant http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif disease and it sure makes the news interesting. Appointing him as head of the DNC is the most honest thing the DNC has ever done. Now, America sees what Kooks the Liberal leadership really are...

Rep. Harris Demands Howard Dean Apologize

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris demanded an apology Thursday from Democratic Party chairman Howard Dean, who during a speech this week likened the senatorial candidate to former Soviet ruler Joseph Stalin.

Dean, in a speech to Democratic business leaders in West Palm Beach, made the remark in reference to the Harris' handling of the 2000 presidential election recount when she was Florida secretary of state and an honorary chairwoman of George W. Bush's Florida campaign.

Dean is totally out of control, as proven by his behavior in public... If I were a Dem, I would be very mad that this man flys off the handle in the name of the party. It is most embarassing for Mrs. Dean and the party...

You got to have a firebrand in charge of the party. It keeps the fanatics happy. You just have to pray that the rank and file moderates and other swayable party members forget what he's been saying. And you hope to heck the bulk of the other voters forget it as well.

Since the Libs don't believe in punishment, no one is going to take a switch to Dean behind the woodshed to get him to behave.

GW - You missed the better part of the news. Kat is trailing Nelson in the polls by 38 points.

But she's hot - thanks troll! I just wish she's packing a .45 to complete the picture.

And she has brains too. It is just unfortunate she's wasting her time in the Red team (LOL).

Beast polls are irrelevent, especially this early. She may lose, but it will not be by 37 points I guarentee that fact. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-wnk-yellow.gif That is the trouble with you Liberals...you think that polls are important...you live and die by them. Well, there is no Governor Kathleen Brown ahead 23 points in the polls against Pete Wilson. Personally, I think Harris has about a 50/50 chance of beating Nelson at this point. Frankly, I hope Dean keeps attacking her viciously and unfairly...Republicans and Moderates absolutely hate when an out of town Liberal Blowhard picks on one of their own. Keep it up Dean and you might witness a rally around the ole Kat Tree. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-hitting-self.gif

GW - IBAFoo's posit on Bush aside, where did this Republican=Brainless joke originated?

You know, I tried to make a comeback on the Dem-dominated site before posting that that their leaders just can't keep their zip up, and they thought its a complement.

Would disagree with you on the polls. No one disputed yet their scientific validity. Even this administration uses it for their focus group. It is not an exact predictor of results though since it's a snap shot and sentiments can change over time.

GW - One more to chew over the weekend. Bush's latest overall job rating is a net negative (-17): 36 favorable against 53 dissatisfied. And that's from Republican friendly Fox news.

From AP, it's net negative (-27): 36 favorable against 63 unfav.

Beast what bothers me about polls is that quite often they are used to make news rather than find out a general trend. Also, they can also be used to say whatever you want them to say. Ask any political pollster and s/he will tell you that this is true. Quite often, they manipulate the questions to elicit a certain response. It does not matter how scientific the polling actually is conducted. I can take two polls with the same people and slant the questions two different ways and make it say whatever I want it to say.

For example: Do you support a woman's right to choose? OR Do you support the murder of unborn babies? This is an extreme example, but I think you get the point.

Bottom line, political polls do not mean a whole lot...

AS far as Bush's favorable/unfavorable polls, only an idiot cares about what they say. The guy is NEVER running for office again in his entire life, why does he or anyone care what his rating are. He is also making tough decisions at the moment, so I do not doubt that people are a little pissed off at him. I have not agreed with all of his decisions, but at least he takes a stand unlike the people the check the polls before taking a stand. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-wnk-yellow.gif
