Thinking about getting a Camping Trailer

Hello all;

After this very wet spring camping in a tent while turkey hunting, I have been thinking about getting a camping trailer. However, I really don't want something too big. I often hunt in places where taking a big trailer would not be wise. Plus I would like to be able to pull it comfortably with a Ford F150. I recently saw somebody with a hardsided "pop-up trailer" named a Trailmanor (see picture/website below). Overall, it seems to be something that would meet my needs. I would love to hear some feedback if anyone out there owns or has used one of these trailers.

I saw them at the ISE and they look pretty cool but IMHO they are way overpriced. A regular pop-up trailer is actually plenty weatherproof. I had my pop-up in Mammoth last year and it poured on us without even a drop coming inside. You can get one with a shower/dumper, heater, fridge, the works. All at a much more reasonable price. Thanks. The price does seem very high. After posting this on Friday, I got an online quote for about $27,000. Yikes.

I have a tent trailer that I am trying to sell now. It is a Coleman Sequoia. The model year is early 90s but it is still in good shape. It has stove inside and out, 20 gallon water tank and water heater, outside shower head, queen bed, and double bed. It comes with a screen room, refrigerator (ice-box), privacy curtains, porta-potti, and clothes holders. I live in the East Bay as you can see from my profile. I have some friends that may be interested, but if you are interested send me an email and you could come over and look at it.

make sure the tent trailer is up off the ground if you are going to take it off road. i have seen some that are real low and would drag the ground going thru rough spots.
