Florida Sells OUT!

So, Florida gator permits went on sale today at 10 am. Last year, I remember being online in Sugust and still being able to pick up a tag. I went to buy one at 3 pm and they were sold out. I believe there was like 4000 tags. I cannot believe I missed out. Its like trying to get U2 tickets the day tickets released. I am sooooo bummed.

Only 4,000 'gator permits????? Isn't there a rash of deadly 'gator attacks recently????? Ever eat 'gator steaks????? How'zzzit????? 'Nuff said.

I've tried gator meat...tastes like a cross between chicken and fish. It's good.

Never hunted gators but sure see a bunch. Maybe next year I'll try for a permitt.

Here's a pic of one I killed in GA this past season.

GA's season is a lottery only deal so it may be a while before I get to go again. Hopefully SC will come around and let us start taking a few out around here. There's not a type of hunting that's as addicting as gator hunting...it will change you forever!
