Isn't it cruel not to kill the animal immediatly after seeing an arrow sticking out of it's head. I mean is she thinking that a couple months in recovery will work. It's ugly, but have a heart, don't think all of sudden you're going to be capable of orchestrating a medical mission for a deer with an arrow in it's head. Who's the cruel one?
And now should we ban automobiles for the horrendous damage they do to deer. What a joke. it doesn't matter, I'll bet that more people see this because of JHO than any other feel good animal rights channel.

Here we go again...
Poor tia found some vid of a deer with an arrow in it. Wonder if she is going to post some footage of all the road kill along our highways, or some of the thousands of waterfowl that die of avian colera every year, or how about the fish killed each year by the red tide?
This is exactly how the condor lead ban fiasco started and how many has it saved? How much money has it cost us?
Maybe tia needs get out and find a boy friend?

That Tia bird has been around a while spewing her crap about bowhunting. She had her own website (might still do) with plenty of pictures of a wounded deer she kept around and starved to death so she could take pictures for her website. I see some of the pics of the deer are on the petition site.

Many people see only what they want to see. If Tia is an omnivore like the majority of us, she should visit slaughterhouses and feedlots for a real eyeopener on cruelty to animals. If she is a vegetarian, she should visit the farms and find out how the farmers feel about the deer that feed on their crops.
Hunting is cruel for many because the modern supermarket has so far removed us from reality of what we eat.

No anti-hunter is going to go to Afganistan. On aprevious post I argued that there must be some oranized way of encouraging young folks from disadvantaged backgrounds to enter the hunting sports. Politics is a numbers game if we don't grow our sport then one day we will lose ity. our enemies are not stupid and unorganized. I belong to the NRA and have belonged to to Quail Unlimited but if we don't get more members in our sport we will lose.

Forty years ago I put a couple of bales of hay in my backyard and started shooting a bow (back then we didn't have these new-flangled things with wheels and sights and carbon arrows). After a few weeks, well probably months, I got to where I always hit the paper saucer I used as a target. I knew as soon as bow season opened I would finally get a deer. Opening day, I shot at 6 or 7 different deer, all very close; and never even spooked them, much less hit one. I reckon I had a bad case of buck fever.
A week later I shot at a little spork, standing less than ten yards from me(right in front of the National Park Boundry sign). I think the fletching of the arrow tickled his belly, but there was no blood or hair on the arrow, and I found no blood on the ground.
I decided it was inhumane for me to be an archer. I went home and sold the bow before I wounded deer. Now after having taken several deer with a rifle, I will probably buy a new bow when I retire. With practice, I am sure things would be different now.
I can understand why some folks want bow hunting prohibited. Many well meaning people feel it should be against the law. But whither we are bow hunters or not, we need to stand together.
Because Lefty is right, we are becoming a minority. If they can out law bow hunting, they can outlaw "canned" hunts, or ground sluicing quail, using hounds while hunting, or hunting on federal land, using sharp hooks to catch fish, or anything else they decide.
Even if you don't bow hunt, if they outlaw bow hunting, maybe you should consider taking up golf.

How the heck can anybody outlaw bowhunting. I say impossible. Before bows there was spears. Would the PETA rather see a group of men stabbing game with a pointy stick. Probably not. Also any animal I shoot at deserves the absolute best kill shot I can make. Practice makes perfect.

Zealots want to control other people
most of the morons spewing there religious dogma of animal and planet worship were FOREIGNERS and not able to affect US law.
Look out these people are passionately trying to TAKE AWAY OUR RIGHTS.
We also need to be as passionate about securing our God given right to hunt as our ancestors have for thousands of years. These types always want to CONTROL other peoples actions.
STAND UP AND COUNTER THIS SORT OF ATTITUDE WHENEVER POSSIBLE!
