The Jesse's Hunting & Outdoors (JHO) website was started in 1998 and is run by volunteers using free open source software. We used a free webhost named Geocities until March 2001 when we moved to a webhost with more room for a small monthly fee. As the JHO website continued to grow so did our demands for a faster server with more room to run the website. In June 2003 we moved to a better (more expensive), server and started taking donations to help support the website.
This donation post is not a sign we are in trouble or this website may go dark one day. In fact, many people have asked me over the years how to donate and I have told them there wasn't much cost and I never asked for any money to run this website. Also, there will be no special club or inner circle if you donate. We don't want you to feel you have to donate to participate here.
