I have the same vision countless times before each deer and elk season. I’m drawing on a great animal that I’ve just put a real tough stalk on, but as I draw my bow, I notice the string is cut and I simply watch the animal walk away, unable to do anything. Protecting your bow and its components while hunting, especially in the backcountry is tough, but the Primos Bow Sling was built just for this task.
The Bow Sling is an extremely easy to use product; simply slide the molded foam pockets/cups around your cams, hooking the two elasticized bands, then secure the 3 snap closures around your string, and your bow is now ready for travel and/or storage.
I used the Bow Sling on two hunts this past season. The first was a four-day horseback trip into the Oregon backcountry chasing spring bears. The sling worked flawlessly and carried my bow behind my back for hours atop a Spanish mustang with no issues. The fear of cutting a string was non existent.
The second trip involved backpacking over five miles into a Northern California wilderness area with my bow strapped to my pack. The Bow Sling kept the string padded and protected from cuts throughout the entire trip.
