Each pair of SunBusters comes with five interchangeable lenses designed for different lighting situations. The one thing each of the lenses has in common is great color and detail enhancement. I settled on the Crimson Brown shade for its flexibility in most light conditions.
As a bowhunter, I have always had trouble seeing my sights across the bridge piece on my sunglasses. The SunBuster Dude model frames solved that problem by using a one piece lens design which allowed me to see through the lens across the bridge of my nose.
Of the five lens types available I chose to use the lens that allowed me to see my surroundings as naturally as possible. Some of the lenses tended to turn everything a dominant color. This was an effect I wouldn’t want in the field while trying to spot game.
The Dude frames are very light and comfortable. They come with different sized nose pieces for a custom fit. There were times in the field when I forgot I was wearing sunglasses at all.
The presentation is great. The frame and lens set comes in a foam-lined nylon case with a sturdy zipper. The lenses fit snugly in the slots provided.
