The JetBoil Cooking System Really Cooks!

While at the SHOT show this year, I met up with Tim Wilson from Jet Boil. He gave a demo of their Jet Boil stove that was very impressive.

Several other efficiency features contribute to the impressive time to boil, such as an insulated sleeve that fits around the pot, a windshield that surrounds the burner and a lid to cover the top. Jet Boil claims that fuel efficiency is increased by 80% and the time to boil 16oz (2 cups) of water is 2 minutes.
For the camper/backpacker, it means you are eating hot oatmeal or drinking hot chocolate sooner, breaking camp faster, using less fuel, and saving precious volume in your pack. For the hunter and fisherman, it reveals a revolutionary convenience for having that morning cup of joe while in the duck blind, or being able to enjoy fresh brew before the first cast (requires the Jet Boil French press lid).
The Jet Boil technology is light, compact, and fast. Boiling water for a meal or hot drink has never been this convenient.
