A lot of fish have been planted this year for the season opener; should be a good one if we get some nice weather to cooperate. Below is a synopsis pulled from WDFW's website on the number of trout and warmwater species fish that were planted.

7,010,800 trout fry, now of catchable size, were stocked into 379 lowland lakes last year
12,795,000 kokanee fry, expected to show in this year's catch, went into 39 lakes
4,201,486 catchable-size trout are being stocked now into 379 waters
51,311 triploid "trophy" (one-and-half-pound) rainbow trout are being stocked into 80 lakes
20,306 two-year-old and surplus hatchery broodstock trout are being stocked in 77 lakes
324,000 warmwater species fish stocked in 20 waters are expected to show in this year's catch
