The proposals are up and running now.

This file is very large, so if you right click and save on your desk top, they open much quicker.

Yes sir!
looks like the term "Doe Days" has gone by the wayside
and every day will be "DEER DAY"

Hopefully the clubs and landowners will not abuse it.

Course all of South GA have been this way for many years.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it will not have negative consequences.

well i think my guys on my club will do just fine with it.
some of my members wouldn't shoot a doe if they were starving to death, others will take a doe or two for the freezer but i can't imagine any of them taking the legal limit of does.
Now to put this in perspective all of my members are Family.
most are From the "old school" and beleive you need your does , lots of them!

some of us younger hunters believe in managing our herd.

I am with you W4. Must take does to have a well managed heard. Must not take too many does though.

For the most part the increase in doe days from recent years has allowed each club or land owner to manage their herd.

Based on what I am reading on ga. forums, and getting from talking to other hunters, they plan to handle the new "doe days" in a responsible manner and use them wisely.

I, for one, am pleased with the new doe days In Jasper county and beleive that with few exceptions the Ga. herd will be better because of these changes http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-biggrin-aqua.gif

I intend to utilize the new choices I have in a way that will enhance my hunting season.
