False teeth held ransom 3/1
JONESVILLE — A Lee County man has been jailed on felony charges after he held a woman’s false teeth for ransom. Debra Letourneau of, Long Hollow, in a warrant she obtained Monday, says she was at another residence on Dec. 30 when Gary Lee McMurray, 30, of Keokee, allegedly called her and said he was in possession of the upper plate to her dentures. He reportedly told her he would stomp them if she did not pay him for the return of the false teeth.

Letourneau placed a $250 value on the dentures.

McMurray was arrested and charged with felony grand larceny.

LOL..... That's funny!

My dad was raised in Jonesville. I still have kin' folk there. The false teeth are probably whittled from wood. Lee County only has one dentist and all he knows how to do is pull teeth. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-toothless-aqua.gif

Since I have my own falsies from hockey that is funny.

As a kid I liked to switch grandma's and grandpa's dentures in the soaking cups after they were asleep. Breakfast was always fun watching them trying to figure out why they couldn't eat right.

Hey Jessi, I play hockey all the time but haven't lost any teeth to it yet. Those full cage helmets work great except it's hard to look behind you with them.

Next trip to Alaska, plan on a rec. game with my crew.

'Tooth Fairy' case goes to grand jury 4/1
By C.J. HARTE Staff Writer

JONESVILLE — It’s now left up to a Lee County Grand Jury to decide if a Keokee man is to be indicted on holding his former girlfriends false teeth for ransom.

Late last week, in Lee County General District Court, charges of grand larceny against Gary Lee “Tiny” McMurray were certified to the grand jury following a preliminary hearing. Dubbed the “Tooth Fairy” by Lee officials, McMurray allegedly took his former girlfriends upper denture plate and refused to give them back unless she paid $20 for their return.
