Charlotte Conservation Group to Hold Sporting Clay Shoot

The Charlotte Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) has scheduled an organizational Sporting Clays Fun Shoot at the Deer Run Sporting Clays 2609 Mountain Gap Road, Richburg, SC, on Saturday, May 16, 2009 beginning with registration at 10 a.m.

Registration for this 100 target 12 station shoot is $40 and includes a barbecue lunch. A warm-up Wobble or 5-Stand is also available at $8.75 per round.

"I can't think of a better way to get this new chapter in flight, than to introduce wing shooters to the Ruffed Grouse Society and its goals, and where better than at the new 268 acre sporting clay farcicality in Richburg," said RGS Regional Director Don Mallicoat, who will also provide an update on RGS current initiatives in the region.
