Ok everybody, I just looked at the muzzle brake selection in the brownells and am now completely confused.

Which one would work the best on my .223?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

VarmintCoop,

I do not know about brownells or the best for the 223. However, I have a KDF brand on my 300 win mag & it most definitely works. ###I also owned a Magnaport system on a 257 weatherby mag that worked, but not nearly as well as the KDF.

I read an older article that tested about a half dozen different brands and the KDF rated the best of those tested. ###Keep in mind, the muzzle blast will lay the daisys low (not to mention your eardrums). Usually worse on the person next to you though.

I would question if a muzzle brake would be worth it on a 223?! ###I think I would go with a slightly heavier barrel instead and you would be without the added muzzle blast. ###Good Luck!
