Does anyone know a conversion factor (if any) for converting caliber, to inches or milimeters?

Caliber is measured in inches.. or percentage of inches. ###So a .25 cal is 1/4" ###Which makes it ###appx. 6.35 mm. ###

However, you'll find that a lot of calibers aren't "true", especially with handgun rounds. ###So a .44 magnum is more like .410" or 10.414mm. ###

If you're looking to convert a specific caliber, you'll need to find out the true diameter, then convert it. ###

You could use the following formula, where "X" is bullet diameter and "Y" is the conversion to mm... ###X*2.54*10 = Y
