It's not looking good for this bowhunter named Josh Kettl. Word is the case will be presented to the District Attorney and they will make a decision on whether to prosecute the case after Thanksgiving. Bottom line, if you go after a record book animal you'd better follow the regs to the letter.
This bobcat came out and sat down right in front of me while I was deer hunting. He was staring at a bush and I had been there about 10 minutes glassing a hillside so I don't think it was quail he was after, maybe a mouse. My .17 was back in the truck, it was the 2nd bobcat I have seen in 2 days while deer hunting.
